Berlitz // Get The Message Through
This series of posters describes the difficulty of communicating in a foreign language when it matters most (like when you absolutely need a toilet, or when you’re not interested in someone’s advances)—because your tongue is limited to English.
We’ve humorously illustrated this problem by having blocks of text in English being stuck behind a screen that has the corresponding word or phrase etched out in a foreign tongue. Clearly, the English text cannot fit through this barrier, leaving us to imagine the hilarious consequences.
The pay off, “Get the message through” informs you that a solution is available—
by enrolling in a foreign language class!
