48 Hour Film Challenge // Transfused
‘Transfused’ is a short film which won a Visual Effects Special Mention at the 48 Hours Film Challenge Singapore. My friends and I were tasked to conceptualise and shoot the film within 48 hours with a sci-fi genre which was given upon getting the brief. We were also tasked to use the name Mr. Anderson and a pair of tongs as props. All concept, shooting, editing, colouring and even soundtrack are done within 48 hours.
The film is about a man, Mr. Anderson, who is on a verge of bankruptcy. He couldn’t find a solution to his financial problems, so he resorted to drugs. Upon getting the ‘kick’ of the drugs, he finds himself in a deserted place where no one is around. Distraught and out of his mind, he went on a journey to look for his loved ones but realize that he’s trapped in his own mind. But he’s not alone…
